"Terri Richter is an outstanding young lyric soprano. In May 2002 she portrayed Oscar in all eight performances of Un ballo in maschera. Her charm, musicality, easy high notes and joie de vivre won from each audience and every critic enthusiastic praise. I have never seen or heard an Oscar who did more with the part, and her work with Carol Vaness, the Amelia, and Vinson Cole, the Gustavo, was exemplary. I am very impressed with this young woman.
